The Sonel MPI-540-PV multifunctional meter is an advanced device designed for measuring parameters of photovoltaic systems. The meter allows you to carry out tests on both the DC and AC sides in accordance with EN 62446 standards. In addition, the Sonel MPI-540-PV is also used to measure all necessary conditions for the safety of domestic and industrial electrical installations. The presented meter is a tool with advanced capabilities, dedicated to specialists working in the installation and electrical industry.
When you’re measuring the efficiency of a photovoltaic installation, the Sonel MPI-540-PV meter automatically calculates the efficiency based on standard test conditions and measurements of voltages, currents and power on the AC and DC sides of the inverter. After transferring the data stored in its memory to Sonel Reports PLUS software, you can generate a report on photovoltaic system parameters. The meter also has built-in tests that you can run to test residual current devices in Auto mode. In addition, you can use an AutoISO-1000C adapter to measure insulation resistance of 3-, 4- and 5-core cables automatically.
